RMSS Photo Submissions - Rocky Mountain Star Stare

New for 2024!

For RMSS 2024 we will be collecting and displaying photos for viewing from RMSS attendees in lieu of the photo contests of past years. We feel this will allow all of your photos to be equally displayed and enjoyed by the RMSS attendees.

Suggested Photo Categories:

Deep Sky – Astrophotography, nightscapes, etc.
Daytime Sky – Sunrise/Sunset, weather, etc.
People – People having fun at RMSS, camp life, kids, etc.
Natives of the Property– Bugs, reptiles, etc.

Guidelines for Photo Submissions:

Please limit your photos to a reasonable number in consideration of others wishing to display their photos.
Photos must be the original work of the photographer and taken during RMSS 2024.

Photo Submission Procedure:

Photos must be in .jpg format and with a reasonable file size. Submit your photos via email to: photos2024@rmss.org. Include in your email your name and phone number.
We will NOT be accepting photo submissions on thumb drives, SD cards, or other physical medium – email only please!

By submitting your photos for display you grant the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society permission to use your submitted photo(s) for the purpose of promoting RMSS. Your photos may appear on the CSASTRO or RMSS websites and/or be published in advertising materials.
