The place to be this year from June 10th through June 14th will be at Starry Meadows in Gardner, Colorado, where you're welcome to come out and join the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society in celebrating the most phenomenal night skies in the west!

For over two decades, astronomers from across the U.S. and around the world have been gathering each summer in the mountains west of Colorado Springs. What draws them here each year? Dark skies. Not just dark skies, but dark skies with amazing transparency. These gazers of the stars are enjoying Rocky Mountain Star Stare!

Come celebrate 27 years of RMSS with us!

Held in June or early July, RMSS is one of this nation's premier star parties. This year's event will be held from June 10 - June 14, 2015 on our own private land just north of Gardner, CO. Average attendance is usually 300 astronomers!

RMSS 2016 will be held June 1 - June 4, 2016

RMSS 2017 will be held June 21 - June 24, 2017

RMSS 2018 will be held June 13 - June 16, 2018

RMSS 2019 will be held June 26 - June 29, 2019

RMSS 2020 will be held June 17 - June 20, 2020

The Colorado Springs Astronomical Society sponsors this gathering of amateur astronomers. Incredible fields of stars by night are supplemented by day with workshops, children's activities, door prizes, catered meals and fun for everyone.
